Privacy

Your pages stay under your control.

Recognition happens on device. Nothing is uploaded by Everyday Evidence. Exports go only where you choose.

Who is responsible

Cetsol Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Australia, publishes Everyday Evidence and operates this website and app. Privacy questions and access or deletion requests can be sent to support@everyday-evidence.com.

The companion app

No account is required

The app is free for everyone. It does not require a planner purchase, account or purchase code.

Planner pages and recognised text

Scanned page images, recognised text, tasks, planner records and attachments are stored locally on your device. Text recognition is performed using on-device system services. Everyday Evidence does not upload scanned pages or recognised text to its own servers.

Exports and backups

You can choose to export a PDF, save a backup through Files, or send content to Microsoft OneNote. Those actions send the selected information to the destination you choose and are then subject to that provider’s privacy terms. The app does not enable automatic iCloud synchronisation in version 1.

Reminders, camera and sign-in

The app asks for camera access when you scan and notification access when you first create a reminder. Microsoft sign-in is used only if you choose OneNote export. Authentication tokens are stored in the device Keychain and can be removed from the app.

The website and early-access list

If you join early access, the website stores your name, email address, edition interest, signup time, IP address, user agent and referrer. We use these details to send launch updates, prevent misuse and understand where signups came from. The current waitlist is stored on infrastructure controlled by Cetsol Pty Ltd.

We keep early-access information only while it is needed for launch communication, security and reasonable business records, or until you ask us to delete it. Unsubscribing or requesting deletion does not affect records we must retain by law.

Hosting and technical logs

The website is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Hosting systems may process IP addresses, timestamps, requested pages and browser information for delivery, security and diagnostics. Advertising analytics will not be enabled without an appropriate consent process and an update to this notice.

Children and sensitive information

Everyday Evidence is intended for professional and project use. Do not put identifying participant information, clinical records or confidential research data into the planner or app unless your approved protocol, employer and storage rules allow it.

Your choices

You can use the planner without the app, use the app without an account, decline reminders, avoid optional exports, remove the Microsoft connection and delete local planner data. Contact us to ask what waitlist information we hold, correct it or request deletion.

Changes

We will update the date at the top when this notice changes materially. App Store disclosures will be completed from the actual release data flow, not from marketing assumptions.
